Deirdre Baggot Has Paved The Way For An Improved Bundled Payments System In The Medical World

The bundled payments system in today’s health care sector is complicated and in need of change, according to many in the industry. Thankfully, there is a woman like Deirdre Baggot who has continued to pursue her passion for improving it. She served for over a decade in academic health care by working with the University of Michigan Health System as well as Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She teamed up with the Camden Group in 2010 and stayed with it when it was purchased by G.E. In the meantime, she plans on continuing to do her part. Baggot has been a part of many different medical conferences, where she has educated people about bundled payment systems. She has also contributed to the field through writing and hopes that her work will pave the way for a much improved system that benefits its patients the most.
