The Biography of Kurt Cobain would not be complete without noting the fact that he was the leader of Nirvana but the group also incorporated the lesser known Krist Novoselic and in the year 1989 the group burst onto the music scene with their debut album entitled Bleach. The album was released on Sub Pop which is a Seattle independent record label. After signing a major deal with the record label DGC Records the band found the hit that they were looking for with Smells Like Teen Spirit. The Kurt Cobain biography starts with the fact that he was born in Aberdeen Washington on the 20th of February in the year of 67. His family had a musical background as his uncle was a star in the band The Beachcombers and his aunt also played for a band of her own. In one Kurt Cobain biography that is located on the official Nirvana site it states that the early life of Cobain was said to be happy and he was said to be a very caring child. He began taking an interest in many types of music early on in his life and he became a piano player at the age of 4. In this same Kurt Cobain biography it notes that his parents divorced when Cobain was only eight and this was an event that many say changed the course of his life for the worse.
In later years Cobain used his defiance and musical abilities to form a band and a bond with music that would skyrocket him to fame. His band Nirvana is one of the most remembered bands today and will probably be for quite some time to come. Cobain would go on to struggle with heroin and have a hard time coping with the fame he had. He eventually went on to kill himself with a shotgun to the head.
