Joe Arpaio is a notorious Sheriff who called himself America’s toughest Sheriff. He presided over a regime that caused pain and misery to thousands of immigrants that live d in his county. The immigrants who were mainly Latinos were tortured and some even killed in an attempt to stop illegal immigration into the United States.

Joe Arpaio and his cohorts believed that by stopping immigration, there would be more opportunities for the natives. To them, the immigrants were taking over opportunities that should be for the natives.

Joe Arpaio was the person behind the controversy of the birth certificate of the former president Barack Obama. He was joined by Donald Trump to claim that Obama was not born in the country.

The two seem to have working chemistry since Joe Arpaio campaigned for him aggressively during the last presidential elections. After he won the seat, he rewarded Arpaio with a pardon for a case on his conduct as the Sheriff. As two believers in anti-immigration, President Trump does not see anything wrong that Arpaio did while he was the sheriff.
